Blues at the Arch returns in person after two years
Gateway Curvation Park Foundation is pleased to host our seventh annual Blues at the Arch, this year reimagined equally a destination festival, taking place Aug. 12-14! Subsequently the last two years of virtual concerts, we're peculiarly thrilled to announce the *in-person* return of this tradition.
This popular end-of-summertime celebration pays tribute to St. Louis' storied dejection history and showcases the talents of national and local artists.
Produced in partnership with the National Blues Museum and the National Park Service, this free festival is the just one of its kind to accept place on national park grounds. And for the beginning time, our 2022 Dejection at the Arch Festival volition feature nutrient trucks, a Kids Korner, a fettle class, an artisan market, a Blues Brunch and more than!

About the Artist
Hayveyah McGowan is a painter and designer from St. Louis, MO, who began her art concern Hevcasso Creations LLC in 2013. Since then, she has been part of group shows nationally and locally, received an RAC grant, and had numerous commissions of varying scale. McGowan describes her work as being informed by "the dramas of chaos and balance, shown through color, pattern, limerick and form ... visualized through the lens of identity." Through a mixed media approach, McGowan seeks to create images showing the beauty and radiance within the pressures and weights of black womanhood. Learn more than about McGowan's work.

Barre3 and Dejection

Join instructors from local St. Charles fettle studio barre3 for a Gratis barre3 fitness course! The all-levels class combines strength conditioning, cardio and mindfulness and will incorporate some special "blues" elements before participants proceed to enjoy the Blues at the Arch Festival.
